OLUWATOMI
VINCENT is the Managing Partner of Ivory Solicitors Maryland, Lagos, Nigeria.
He is a Notary Public of the Supreme Court of Nigeria with several legal
victories in his kitty both as a Barrister and Solicitor with expertise in the
Laws of Incorporated Trustees, Business Entities’, Legal Compliance and Risk
Management.
In
addition to a Bachelor of Law Degree from Obafemi Awolowo University Ife, Tomi
holds an Advanced Diploma in Commercial Law and Practice; Masters in Law and
another Master of Conflict Management Degrees all from the University of Lagos.
He also holds a Certificate in Media
Enterprise from the prestigious School of Media & Communication(SMC) of
Pan-Atlantic University, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos and has attended many professional
and management courses both locally and abroad. He is also an alumnus
respectively of Nigerian Institute of Advanced Legal Studies and Daystar
Leadership Academy. He is an Associate Member respectively of the Nigeria
Institute of Management, Chartered Institute of Taxation Nigeria and a member
of Chartered Institute of Administrators.
He teaches Law & Ethics at the prestigious School of Media & Communication (SMC), a sister school of Lagos Business School(LBS) of the Pan Atlantic University(PAU), Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos. He is also a Faculty of Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA) as well as the Legal Adviser and Member of Council of the Church Administrators Society of Nigeria(CASON). He is a member of the steering committee for Church Financial Accountability Association (CFAA)
Tomi is a long standing Legal Advisor to notable Ministries & Ministers both locally & internationally on the issues of Law & Ministry in Nigeria. He is regarded by many, on account of his Christian ministry inspired deep understanding of law, as an authoritative voice on Legal Issues in Ministry. He is the Legal Adviser to the Lagos State Executive Council of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria(PFN) and The Director of Legal and Public affairs of Lagos State chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN). He is also on the Pastoral Board of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) Maryland Lagos.
He is
the coordinator of Legal Side of Ministry (LSM) Network, an organization
dedicated to helping the Christian clergy manage Compliance & Legal Risks
issues
He
has authored several books and articles, among which are Registration of Ministries & NGOs in Nigeria and also Very Simplified Essential Legal Insights
about Marriages in Nigeria. He is married to Modupe Vincent (a lawyer, banker
and Certified Personal Finance Coach). They are blessed with children.
